俄克拉荷马州立大学Qi Cheng副教授应邀访问我校并作高水平学术前沿讲座
2012年7月26日,美国俄克拉荷马州立大学电子与计算机工程学院Qi Cheng副教授应邀访问我校。上午10:00,由电子工程与信息科学系刘斌副教授主持,Qi Cheng副教授在西区电三楼314会议室做了一场题为“Distributed Spatiotemporal Signal Processing for System Health Management”的学术报告。
Qi Cheng副教授在报告中首先介绍了俄克拉荷马州立大学电子与计算机学院统计信号处理实验室。然后介绍了系统健康管理的概念、背景知识以及所使用的方法,详细介绍了系统健康管理的关键问题即如何高效的处理收集到的大量数据来提高异常检测准确率以便及时的做出决策。并讨论了用无线传感器网络进行异常事件区域识别中出现的问题。最后介绍了利用时空域的相关信息来预测异常事件的演变过程,并介绍了用于异常事件检测和跟踪的分布式算法。
Qi Cheng副教授的精彩报告受到了广大师生们的热烈欢迎。报告会后,凌青老师还就自己感兴趣的问题与Qi Cheng副教授在现场进行了面对面的交流和深入的讨论。
Qi Cheng副教授简介
Dr. Qi Cheng received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China in July 1999. From 1999 to 2000, she worked as a System Engineer in Guoxin Lucent Technologies Network Technologies Co. Ltd., Shanghai, China. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from SyracuseUniversity, Syracuse, NY, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Dr. Cheng joined Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK USA in 2006 and currently is an associate professor with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Cheng has done extensiveresearch in the areas of distributed detection and estimation, distributed change/fault/anomaly detection,statistical learning theory, communications and information theory and their applications to distributed sensornetworks. Dr. Cheng’s current area of interest mainly focuses on statistical signal processing and data fusion with applications in distributed sensor networks and wireless communications.Dr. Chengis a Senior Member of IEEE and has served as Associate Editor for the IEEE CommunicationsLetters. The work presented is supported by NSF under Grant 0932297.
